Perhaps they were once a single whole. Now, however, only fragments remain, with no way of knowing where they came from or what purpose they once served. They do not understand one another, nor do they fit together completely.

Resting on the floor, they shift, tilt, and tremble little by little. Pressed down by their own weight, they move until, at some point, they come to rest against another fragment. In the process, faint sounds of friction emerge, and subtle vibrations spread into the surrounding space.

Some might call this a failed connection. Yet perhaps this is how the world has always held itself together: different things colliding, drifting apart, and then remaining beside one another once again. Unable to alter each other’s forms, they share the same air, exist under the same light, and confirm one another’s presence through small sounds and movements.

This exhibition is concerned not with grand events, but with small phenomena that are easily overlooked. The fragments continually search for their place, only to scatter again. Some lean against one another, while others never manage to touch.

Yet none of these movements disappears; instead, they slowly accumulate within the space and form a single landscape. Perhaps within that landscape, we may come to discover not the outcome of connection itself, but the meaning of simply remaining together.
