ISU Group (Chairman Kim Sang Beom) announced on December 16 that it has produced its 2026 diary and calendar in collaboration with graphic designer Na Kim.

Since 2021, ISU Group has been producing diaries and calendars through various collaborations. Earlier this year, the group collaborated with Ahn Kyuchul, one of South Korea’s leading conceptual artists, to create a diary and calendar. Last year, it introduced a diary and calendar in collaboration with Belgian artist Rinus Van de Velde.

The 2026 diary and calendar were also produced as an art collaboration, continuing the approach taken the previous year, with Na Kim directly involved in every stage, from selecting artworks to overseeing the overall design. Twelve of her works are featured on the covers and interior pages, transforming the corporate diary into an art object through which users can experience the artist’s creative practice. In particular, each month features a different typographic design, allowing users to encounter Na Kim’s typographic experiments in everyday life.

As with the previous year's edition, the 2026 diary and calendar were produced using environmentally friendly materials. In particular, following a zero-plastic principle, both the paper and ink are made from eco-friendly materials. Even the binding rings of the desk calendar are made of paper. Through these efforts, the products reflect ISU Group’s commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) management.

Na Kim studied Product Design at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and Graphic Design at the graduate school of Hongik University. She subsequently completed a master’s program at Werkplaats Typografie in the Netherlands. She currently runs LOOM, a project space in Berlin.

Working beyond the conventional boundaries of design, she engages in a wide range of creative activities and explores the practice of design as a system. She was selected as a Next Generation Design Leader in 2008, received the DOOSAN Yonkang Arts Award in 2013 and the Today’s Young Artist Award from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2014, and became a member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI) in 2016.

Meanwhile, ISU Group’s art collaboration projects extend beyond diaries and calendars into various other fields. In 2023, the group collaborated with designer Jiyong Kim to produce upcycled clothing and bags, and in April of last year, it released a limited-edition sling bag from the Spring/Summer collection. At the ‘ISU Challenge Festa 3X3’ basketball tournament held in May this year, the group collaborated with graffiti artist Semi TR to bring the concept of "Sports Art Culture" to life.

An ISU Group representative stated, “For the past six years, ISU Group has continued to produce diaries and calendars using environmentally friendly materials as part of its ESG management initiatives. We will continue to introduce eco-friendly art collaboration projects with various artists, reflecting the values that ISU Group strives to uphold.”
